Jeanne Newman Speaks at JSC NMA Event
Houston, Texas. On November 16, 2011, the NASA–Johnson Space Center Chapter of the National Management Association (NMA) held one of its monthly Professional Development Training events. For this month’s event, Jeanne Newman joined Brady Pyle in presenting an overview of the seminars provided during the NMA’s Annual Conference in September 2011. Newman delivered two interactive presentations: "Dealing with Difficult People" and "Your Brain and Leadership".
SmithOps Supports BAHEP’s Annual Golf Outing
Houston, Texas. The Bay Area Houston Economic Partnership (BAHEP) hosted the 7th Annual Emyre Barrios Robinson Appreciation Golf Outing at Bay Oaks Country Club on November 14, 2011. SmithOps Participates in AAS Symposium
Huntsville, Alabama. SmithOps executives participated in the 4th Wernher Von Braun Memorial Symposium on October 24–25, 2011. Hosted by the American Astronautical Society (AAS), the theme for this year’s event was "Launching the Future in Space Exploration". This AAS Symposium was organized in conjunction with the University of Alabama, the Huntsville National Space Club, and the NASA Marshall Space Flight Center.
SmithOps Presents Progress Management™ at JSC NMA Event
Houston, Texas. On October 14, 2011, the NASA–Johnson Space Center Chapter of the National Management Association held its Professional Development Training event. The event featured a presentation to aerospace professionals by SmithOps. The focus of the presentation was an introduction to the SmithOps Progress Management™ methodology. It included a discussion of the three essential skills for successful projects: situational awareness, enfranchisement, and boundary control.
Norm Smith Speaks at JSC NMA Luncheon
